Mini Cards for School Leavers

I was asked to make some cards for the school leavers this year. They are friends at work , teachers who want to give these to their form group and I was given enough time to do them so I thought yeah why not. I made these weeks ago now.

Because I had to make about 60 I opted for a quick option , which is nevertheless effective.I decided to use Big shot to cut out some designs. I had butterflies, sunflowers and daisies. My friends love them...I printed the names and cut them out and mounted them on patterned paper to match the die cut shape.

Ane because I believe in making something pretty, even more prettier, I decided to package them before giving them to my friends. I didn't want to hide them in gift wrap, so I decided to use pink ribbon to tie them up and also, put them in clear cello bags...I fell in love with Cello bags.
What do you think?:)
The small hearts are the cut offs when I was die cutting the butterflies, so I threw them in the bags and they look like confetti! Now why do I miss my school days??

My friends at work were impressed and they didn't know how to thank me. I got a big box of choccies and gift voucher from Next....and money!I think they are mad!

Bye for now and hope you like it.

  1. Oh what a lovely thought to give these out to the leavers and you've certainly deserved the chocs, voucher and money because you've put so much love and care into these.

I love the presentation too and yes, isn't it surprising how nice they look in their shiny cello bags.

I'm sure the students will treasure these and that they will bring back good memories for many years to come.
